ESCULTURA

These sculptures explore the tension between the individual and the structures that contain them. Concrete and iron dialogue as social body and internal will. The forms do not represent complete figures, but states: trapped, suspended, in transit. The work does not propose an absolute liberation, but the persistent question: are we the burden we carry or that which still tries to emerge from it? These white, oval, polished but irregular masses function as:
enclosure
shell
social body
womb / tomb / stone
They are not aggressive, but they are closed. They do not imprison violently: they normalize confinement. That is very powerful, because social burden is usually not felt as direct violence, but as what is given.
