Silencio
At this stage of my journey, creative energy folds back toward what is essential to discover the beauty of the subtle. “Inhabited Silence” is an invitation to pause; a collection in which color becomes unified, surrendering all prominence to light and relief.
My women, once protagonists of a vibrant narrative, now merge into the canvas in an abstract and serene way. They no longer need to proclaim their presence; they now emerge with the elegance of those who know they are part of a whole. They rise from the surface in monochromatic relief, without stridency, becoming symbols of a collective memory that transcends time.
Through a visual language that dialogues with the origins of civilization, the work revives the magic of the hieroglyphs and pictograms of Mesopotamia and Egypt. These encrypted messages, which emerge volumetrically from the canvas, do not seek to impose a meaning, but to awaken intuition. They are whispers of ancient wisdom that connect us to a common root, reminding us that within silence lies the deepest strength.
It is my most minimalist proposal and, at the same time, the most expansive. In this play of shadows and textures, art becomes a visual meditation—a refuge of calm where the message reveals itself only to those who choose to pause and observe with the heart.
