This work was born out of my necessity to show the isolation between population. We are subduet by norms, and we impose ourself the loneliness to protect us in this urban, dehumanized, consumerist and depressive society. The maelstrom of cement.
We hide behind walls.
We grow and fear invades us and we build walls of protection against what is foreign, without realizing that we are actually the ones locked up. We protect ourselves with thicker layers, deeper and deeper, until we immobilize ourselves.
We live in a corporacratic and heteropatriarchal society that has managed to classify us, limit us, confront us, disconnect us. A sleeping society, without a critical spirit. The society of fear, the society of loneliness.
